Saw it on TV - if it was in the theaters in '64 maybe it hit the TV in '65, '66. So I'd have been 12, or 13. Saw it several times over a few years.

I'd say seeing it only a few years after JFK's assassination, beginning to become involved in politics made it "stick".

And oh Jerry Goldsmith wrote the score!

Hopefully I'll get to see it 50ish+ years after I last saw it sometime in '23.
