Stuart McLean, Canadian story teller, with some hilarious Christmas stories
Stuart McLean was a Canadian story teller who had a long running series on CBC radio telling the tales of the owners of the Vinyl Cafe - a second hand record store.The stories dealt mostly with Dave the owner and his family - wife Morley, daughter Stephanie and son Sam.
For Christmas I will post a few of his Christmas tales of Dave and his family and neighbors over the next few days.
The first is perhaps the most famous known simply as "Dave Cooks The Turkey." Most of these stories take about 23 minutes:
