Our driving today I passed a skunk ambling down the street and then a peppy puppy walking its human

on the same side...and I knew what was going to happen next...

Thank goddess they were too far from my house for the inevitable fallout to reach us...

That's my Christmas Eve story.

that will give skunks a wide berth from then on and the type who will attack every one they encounter.

We had the second type.

perhaps puppy's human saw Mr. Skunk and took puppy across the street...
