Cyclist Meets Family of Skunks

While biking along the roads of Pointe-Taillon National Park, this cyclist came across a family of skunks. All of them rushed towards him and sniffed him before running back into the wild.

1. Sometimes you have a curious.

Sometimes you look harmless while being curious. Sometimes you look a little strange. Sometimes you look suspicious.

But if it is a family of skunks being curious, that's adorable!

2. On my morning walk last summer I was on a narrow windy road with a steep bank and heard

something in the brush and out comes the biggest skunk I've ever seen! I just backed away slowly and didn't spook it. It was less than 15 feet from me at eye level.

3. How adorable! They move so cute as a group, and their markings are beautiful.

4. Whoa! Brave individual.

Sorry, but if I see skunks running towards me, I'm biking at full speed the other way! Dealt with too many puppers that have been sprayed. Not something I want to experience.

Then again, they are cute.

6. Been there!

Once was out picking berries in my enclosed high bush blueberry patch, heard a rustling sound, looked down at my feet and there was mama skunk with babies in bunch like that. Awful cute, but I wasn't about to bend over an pet them. Fortunately they let me back away slowly.

I once almost ran into one with my bike.

The entrance to my apartment building smelled of rotting onions for weeks.

8. It's like mom is saying "OK let's go see the next really neat thing" and they continue to

run down the street with their little asses in the air.............

Perhaps she found the smell of the sneaker objectionable.

My wife is pretty sure that I am insane, because I like the smell of a skunk in the distance. I used to drive though a pine forest for 40 miles on my way to work. Most mornings I could get a good whiff of the perfume. We had a dog that got sprayed, and I will say that up close I did not like it....
