The Dentist.

There I am, in the office, in the chair, about to get molar #31 pulled. It had been a good molar and served me well the whole time we were together.

As the doctor walks in, a new song comes on.

“That’s Freddy Mercury, isn’t it?” he asks.

as I don’t listen to pop, I had no answer- except,

“well, it’s appropriate, at least.”

He didn’t seem to figure out why I had said that,
and when you have to explain to the guy doing the extraction that, “Another one bites the dust”

is the perfect song for the moment, it’s time to find another dentist.

Had Soundgarden playing Black Hole Sun as his intro music. If not intentional it at least always seemed most appropriate for a scope in the butt.
