9. Thanksgiving was great-- most of the family is...

dead or dispersed, so I cooked and otherwise helped out with the free dinner at the local Unitarian Church as I've been doing for years.

Right about now the stores are opening in Riverhead for the Black Friday extravaganza, and I've been getting emails and flyers about the marvelous bargains on things I don't need.

I might meander down there for a while. Or I might not.
