Than again there is never anything on those channels anyway so I see your point. I just came over to my brothers house for the free beer not the game.

Why would you run a new episode of something when the Super Bowl is going to get around a 60 percent share of the tv sets that are on?

There shall be no news, there shall be no news, and you will play along or be ridiculed.

Get with the program.

Lots and lots of people like football, and the network that carries the game will make a shitpile of money from it. There is plenty of other stuff on for those of us who don't like it. For instance, at 9 Eastern, there will be a retrospective of the first five years of Saturday Night Live on NBC. I am way more annoyed when they show the same political debate on every friggin' channel. At least the football game is only on one channel.
