(5,604 posts)Its still hanging around 58 degrees. Just walked the dog for about an hour, through the woods to the beach and didn't need a flashlight to navigate my way around.

(12,272 posts)I will look for it again tonight. It appears larger than usual and it was yellowish yesterday morning

(5,909 posts)Of course, by the time I got my camera all set up it moved behind the trees and I couldn't get a good shot. It was huge!

(28,946 posts)Full moon rising, Mars just ahead. Venus and Jupiter setting. If the seeing is very good and so are your eyes, Mercury is about 30 degrees ahead of Venus and Saturn rising about 2 hours after the moon.

(12,272 posts)I am in the NW, so I am hoping to see some color in the sky. Of course, I hope that there is no damage.

(28,946 posts)As usual overcast here in the NE, so no treat for us.

Looks like your area won't have much chance anyway

(28,946 posts)Snowed last night, no chance at all
Did you see them?

(12,272 posts)Though, I was thrilled to see the amazing moon and Mercury and Venus, thanks for posting about the planets. It seemed to be extra bright in the east, but that could have just been the huge, golden moon. Our sky was slightly cloudy, so no rain or snow. Stay warm
sarge43
(28,946 posts)We've had a mild winter, so not too difficult staying warm.
