I'll be in NYC the weekend of 9/18. Who wants to have drinks in the 19th?

I have a 'date' on the 18th with Robert Plant at the Hammerstein Ballroom but I will be staying an extra night. Who wants to have drinks on the 19th? By then I should have surpassed my 100lb mark for weight loss so I'm sure I'll be up for celebrating somewhere!

Let me know!

Congratulations on the weight loss. Last time we were together a strong breeze would have carried you away if you had been 100 pounds smaller.

I'm going to be there 7/23- 28th, coming right up. I would have loved to meet up with you. I'm taking my two boys (18 & 21) because they've never been before. We are going to do touristy stuff. Sure do wish this would have worked out.

Any suggestions on what we should do, where we should eat, etc.?

I'll be watching this thread to see if you meet up anywhere near the Jersey side. If so, I may hop the ferry and come meet you and anyone else.

Ocracoke is in between NYC and Deleware if you take the scenic route.

The train doesn't stop anywhere near Ocracoke.

Closest stop is Rocky Mount.

Do you know how far it is from Rocky Mount to Ocracoke?

Do you?

You can't build train tracks over fucking shoals.

Can you?
