A friend of mine just sent me a message. He was helping an old neighbor clean out his storage shed and came across a solid wood crate with brass hinges. Inside there are six unopened bottles of beer carefully packed in sawdust. The labels say Cuahutemoc commemorative Navidad 1986. They have Grolsch style stoppers and the unbroken paper label still covers the metal release.
Any idea where I can go to find how much these bottles are worth?

(29,739 posts)trying to buy mine, but I won't sell. He's not willing to give me what I think is a fair deal. I'm asking $20.00.....is that to much? He's talking like $3.00 or if he really wants it, $5.00. I said no way. and it's more or less a stand off for laughs really, we're great friends. I know it's not worth 20 bucks.

(10,418 posts)Beer doesn't age well like wine. It was probably bad a year after it was bottled.

(53,339 posts)I got that by googling the name and year from the label, and there are more results if youi search on that.
