"Yes Kemosabi." Tonto rode as fast as he could and got to the doctor. "Lone Ranger bit on tallywhacker by rattlesnake. Want know what to do."
"Tonto, the only way to save him is to get right back there and suck out all of the venom and spit it away. You must get all of it."
"Tonto understand." He rode back as quickly as he could and jumped off of his horse.

(8,718 posts)Slow healing wounds usually happen in the elderly, people with poor circulation, or diabetes. I figure the part of my wound that is healing by secondary intention (granulation) has more in common with motorcycle road rash, than ulcers. I had some very badly skinned knees and knuckles from flipping over on a slow moving moped, but as deep as that was, Io doubt it was full thickness. I am probably just being a hypochondriac. I have been taking a multivitamin and attempting to eat more protein. Elevating my leg like crazy, and laying around more often than not. just saw a referenct women with slow healing wounds being zinc deficient

even if a professional was available to talk to you here they would still need to SEE it in PERSON. Go to the hospital or call your doctor. Please.
