12 months full package for $130. She was a "customer resolution specialist."
She told me this was a one time offer. I said fine, I'll quit next year. I wasn't very nice and asked why they couldn't have just done that yesterday?
She then pulled up my record and noted that I had gotten a one-time offer last year. I said, if you don't want to give me your offer then pull the plug.
She said no - they'd go for one more. But full price next year. I said once more then I will drop them next year.
Told her that if we had any competition in this country their prices wouldn't be so high.
I really think she was damned glad to get rid of me.

I'd chuck that radio out in a second if there was any real competition.
Many folks made some interesting suggestions yesterday that I intend to pursue

(6,262 posts)Signed up way back when I was in a rural Trumpian type area and craved Progressive talk. Al Franken saved my sanity. This was XM, before they merged.
Now expensive, but addicted when in the car. Will do the drop and whine when the subscription comes to renewal time next summer. Long time customer, so should get a really good deal - right? We shall see. Thanks for the posts.
