(102,580 posts)My sister continues to live in the south and suffers greatly.
She does all kinds of the usual medical interventions to deal with it, but one of her docs recommended she try "desensitizing" a bit by ingesting LOCALLY PRODUCED HONEY daily. Must be as local as possible. Takes a few weeks to see improvement, but couldn't hurt, right?

(32,103 posts)I normally don't have many problems, but this year, everything bloomed at once. I had to resort to antihistamines. My poor cat was having issues because of it, too.

(30,947 posts)But my car is a mess with all that yellow stuff. I live in a mobile home and the hose is located in the back of the house where I cannot drive the car, so I have to take it to a car wash, which is also a pain in the butt. So I am just waiting until the pollen season is over.

(158 posts)I feel sorry for you, I am lucky I do not suffer from pollen allergies where I am or I would be dead. It has been really bad here in Tennessee- My black truck has a yellow/green tint to it.
