Music Appreciation
Related: About this forumAny new musicians/bands making openly political music?
Listening to the new music from the Boss, it reminded me of how I haven't heard much other new music that was politically-informed. I know there were some anti-war songs around the time of the Iraq War, but since then, I haven't heard anything. I'm sure there must be people doing it, but either it's not getting any publicity or I'm just missing it. If anyone here has heard anything, I'd love to hear it.

(2,915 posts)Even though it's British and referred specifically to the riots there, it did have relevance to similar things going on here in the States as well.
