Preview of the rockumentary: "The Beatles: Get Back"

Just this preview alone has footage I've never seen, and it's those rare images that make this upcoming movie unique to those that came before it. It seems to cover the music instead of the drama. The backstage fly on the wall clips for the rooftop performance is absolutely fascinating and presented in full for the first time.

Film maker Sir Peter Jackson (Lord Of The Rings, The Hobbit) culled down 56 hours of never before seen footage for this behind the scenes look at the Fab Four.

It's good to see them all happy and having fun making music together. Incredible footage. Midnight Writer Feb 2021 #1

On a side note, I see why it would be irritating to band members for Yoko to be right up there with them while they are working. I always figured that was an exaggeration, but some of these shots shows her sitting right up in there.

I don't mean to be condescending, but she wasn't in the band, and she often gave John input that he took to the others. They all knew where it was coming from and held great resent. Even Billy Preston knew his place in the band, and he contributed much.

He's talking about New Zealand of course.

It's amazing what effective leadership with a moral core can actually accomplish.

Of course what we had until January 20th was anything but.

Love the Beatles.
