Jethro Tull has been one of my favorites for most of my life

Even albums I consider weak have hidden gems. Case in Point, War Child gave us on of Tull's biggest hits "Bungle in the Jungle"- which is just awful.

It also has "Skating Away On The Thin Ice Of A New Day" another pretty big AOR track.

But my favorite tune on that record is Sealion

Skating Away...is a great track for me.
The building of layers of instruments as to song goes on is so cool.
There's acoustic guitar, tabla, accordion, electric guitar, vibes, bass and they all enter piece by piece.
Then, the smart lyrics.
I find "Bungle..." catchy, but it's not their best work.
Agreed completely on Sea Lion.
I have Martin Barre on my Top 10 list of all-time underrated guitarists.
Been a fan since Aqualung came out. But, I went backward from there to Benefit, Stand Up...
Saw them live twice.
Superb.

I really love the way "Skating Away" builds too. So damn cool

I got a link to the new "Jethro Tull" songs but without Martin Barre I can't recommend it
