Such a nice flow to that riff. And, it can be simplified and still sound good, until one is good enough to play it spot on.
Also, fun to sing, though I've lost enough top end that I'm not sure I can sing it anymore. Stevie has the high clear top end.

(65,334 posts)But, that song more needs a whole band and I never played in one where that fit our style.
But, the first one...Just pick up the guitar and start playing and singing. It lends itself to a solo thing. I even did a piano version of it when I did a piano bar thing once.

(65,334 posts)He goes to the F chord very differently from the original version.
It's easier to play that way, but it lacks the jarring element of going to that major chord off the minor 3rd.
I had a different "cheat" back when I was playing only a couple years, but once I had the skills to do it right, I never went back.
