...amphibians and insects. i say "almost macro" because the magnification of the canon lens he uses is .39x at the minimum focus distance. true macro is 1x, but when you're shooting frogs and stuff on an APS-C sensor, you don't need true macro. this stuff is amazing, and now i'm shopping for a fisheye lens for either my nikon or my lumix.

he's using a godox flash and a custom diffuser and that's why it looks like he's doing studio work. he's a great photographer.
