...but i really want the white faced capuchins to spend more time here....i think they are more photogenic. they come through, ransack the area and leave.

...but if you do walk under a tree with monkeys in it, don't look up.

but if you do look up, don't open your mouth.

simple rules. i first thought of these when i saw a howler monkey in a bare tree taking a dump. as i watched the turds popping out and falling to the ground, i thought, "what could be worse than walking under that tree right now?"....then i realized the only thing worse than walking under that tree would be to be walking under the tree and looking up...with your mouth not closed.

i wish i had my camera that time...a video of that would have been priceless.
