One of my squirrelly neighbors dropped by

I was sitting on the back deck, camera in hand, hoping birds would fly in to perch in the holly trees. No luck. Then I heard a familiar rustling and racket among the leaves. A squirrel crawled onto a branch near to where I was sitting and peeked from behind the leaves. Curious but shy at first, the squirrel seemed to warm up to me. Maybe it was fascinated by the shiny camera lens. I hope it returns tomorrow.

I haven't found a bird feeder yet that they can't get into. They're fascinating. And cute.

Thanks!

And all the other busy little critters in my back yard. Rabbits, chipmunks, birds.

The squirrels have little hands that they use to hold their maple seeds to eat.

I like your last shot, with the ivy! TY Mousetoescamper!
