I would like to start the process quickly for the August Photography Group Contest. Below are three topic suggestions. Please let me know which sounds best to you.
1. Panoramas. Panoramas are made up of more than one image stitched beside or above each other to make an image that cannot be made with a single picture. For the past ten years a number of digital cameras can do it or most all image processing software such as Photoshop or Lightroom can create them.
2. Summer Landscapes. Self explanatory.
3. Tall Things. Buildings, trees, people, etc.
Please let me know which one of these appeal to you or if none of them do, what would you like to suggest.
I need to get the contest underway in early August because of my schedule for the end of the month.
Thanks,
Puppy Bismark

(8,976 posts)I'd love to see photos of stuff that appeared to be high tech or futuristic at some time in the past. I'm thinking about stuff like digital clocks with little pages that flipped like a rolodex or cell phones the size of a car battery. Or maybe tech items in decay or cars with massive tailfins....whatever used to be the future but is now almost forgotten. I think it would be a fun contest with loads of variety.

(8,976 posts)I almost never compete but the theme I mentioned was just too cool not to put out there when someone asked. But you know, if you could win the September contest...

(90,798 posts)Yeah, I enjoy hugs from tall people.
Being short has its benefits. 'Course, being tall does too.

(46,436 posts)My younger girls are both taller than me, and even my 13-year-old grandson, Colton, is taller than me now. Given the size of Aiman's feet, and his tall parents, he'll probably be another six-footer.
