I have so many potential projectiles in my front/back yards!!

Haven't really had to worry about 80mph winds before...

So I've been spending the morning trying to gather/stash as much as I can. Lightish, sharp stuff first... I have three big metal discs that were covers for bird feeders at one point... 6ft sections of 2x2s... a few pieces of siding...

Taking a little break, but headed back out.

Their foster Corgi won't even go out it's so bad. She's expecting Xcel to turn off power in their area at any moment. Stay safe!

I read that Xcel was going to do that which is a terrific idea, if not an inconvenience.

I never worried about fire before and then we had that Marshall fire which was very much in the suburbs.

I hope.

The wind is roaring constantly, and the lights have flickered a couple of times, but so far, so good.

I spent all day Saturday waiting for my condo patio door to explode. Fortunately it faces south, not west.
