Ellen,
Wanted to make sure you saw this email from Wendy.
Last week the Supreme Court took up the most important case for women's reproductive freedom in decades. In fact, it was the very same law Wendy stood strong for 13 hours to stop.
With more of these anti-woman laws coming down the pipeline and Republicans refusing to confirm whomever President Obama nominates to the Supreme Court, the stakes in this election are even higher. It has never been more important to have the voices of women and progressives heard in the Senate.
Will you pitch in now so we can take back the Senate from Mitch McConnell and stop these anti-woman policies? There are only 49 days left for you to make a difference in this election.

We need to dig in and not give a single inch to these extremists leading the war on women.
Thanks,

(6,150 posts)There are men out there who taking family planning seriously, from husbands who purchase condoms, to men who help their wives and girlfriends remember to take their Pills every morning. There are men who drive their wives and girlfriends to abortion clinics and sit in the waiting room for them.
NARAL annually does a piece on "Men of Choice", male celebrities who are willing to publicly champion abortion. I applaud
them.

With that said, I'm tired of the abortion provider killers, the clinic bombers, the aggressive clinic protesters, the state lawmakers and governors who pass TRAP Laws, and the Supreme Court justices who are just waiting patiently for the opportunity to overturn Roe v. Wade.
Let us take care of our bodies in private.
