Snowstorm ends, rain and light snow expected Sunday

The major snowstorm has ended, but rain and minor snow are expected throughout the day Sunday.

Temperatures Sunday will rise above freezing to many spots in the late afternoon, making for slushy, icy conditions. Across Puget Sound we will see a variety of precipitation types from wet snow to sleet to cold rain.

By later in the afternoon, more locations from Seattle and further south could see more rain showers than snow. Up north, it will probably stay cold enough for snow for most of the day Sunday.

Eww. I think I hate the slushy mess more than I do freshly fallen snow. You're more likely to spin out and lose control.

It will be miserable when it all turns to slush.
Then we'll get flood warnings.
