Sound Transit names new chief financial officer
Sound Transit has named John Henry its chief financial officer a role central to the planning and implementation of the agency's giant light-rail expansion program.
Henry is currently chief financial officer of the American Public Transportation Association in Washington, D.C. He will hold that role until late February, when he will take over his new position at Sound Transit.
As we enter a period of rapid expansion, John will bring deep experience in finance and strategy and a highly collaborative and innovative approach to managing large and complex operating and capital budgets, said Sound Transit CEO Julie Timm in a news release.
Timm herself joined the agency only three months ago. She touted Henrys collaboration skills, saying it will help build partnerships that will connect more than 50 cities.
