Related: About this forumWhy does Walker pronounce "time" as "toyme"?
Heard it a few time in the debate and wondered if that's some sort of unfortunate Colorado/Iowa/Wisconsin accent or just something he does. I've never heard that in Wisconsin before. New York or New Jersey, maybe but not here.

It's sort of like Canadian Ted Cruz running for President of the United States.

He does lots of weird shit that shows him to be an outsider.

(3,974 posts)6. Just figured it out: Rosie Perez
When he says "toyme" it reminds me of Brooklyn born actress Rosie Perez, especially when she was younger.
How Walker picked up a first generation Puerto Rican Brooklyn woman's partial accent we may never know.
