Tasered 95-year-old dies; Australian police officer charged - Al Jazeera

A 95-year-old woman tasered by police at a care home in Australia last week has died.

An officer has been suspended over the incident and has been charged with assault. But more serious charges could be filed after Clare Nowland's death.

2. What was going through this guy's guy when he tasered a 95 YO? Granted, some 95 YOs look

good for their age, but still, good grief. And I suspect strongly that the tasers have a warning affixed to them or included w/ them to not taser elderly people over certain age, especially those at a retirement home, when you kind of know that they are probably not in the greatest of health being in a home to begin w/.

Maybe the officer got some weird kick out of killing someone. His punishment should be that he is tasered to death. A slow death. Forgive me, I'm not 100% into the death penalty, but sometimes, just sometimes it is cried out for...
