Next he decides to cozy up to a quebec that is lightyears ahead on the environment. As predicted by anyone, Separatists in Quebec said nope. So now he has a war with Quebec separatists which is a little more palareable to the people he is trying to convert to the right in canada. Separatist Quebecors make a better scapegoat n'est ce pas? Not to mention that the whole fight in canada against quebec separation was about bringing them into the fold in the 70s and 80s they way french canadians had not been embraced in the decades before. I learnt as much Quebec history in public school as i learnt english canadian history. And that was the point. I live in a bilingual city. It is a bilingual country. But Kenney wants to build a oil pipeline through Quebec that they don't want. So naturally scapegoating Quebec allows him to complain about that and transfer payments Alberta has given to have not provinces like Quebec over the years. The Sound and the fury. Too bad you conservatives did not diversify Alberta's economy when the oil money was flowing. Bet you hope Albertans don't notice that. You'll have to keep them angry forever.
