Hmm. Noscript now has an extensive default "whitelist" that includes Google.
Just spent a few minutes removing crap from the whitelist.
Sounds to me like some $$$$$$$ got involved. Sigh.

(4,062 posts)This doesn't sound too good... Are you are it's by default? I have a lot of sites too, easily removed, but I can't tell if I allowed them.

(32,139 posts)I guess it's not that many sites, and I guess it has actually been doing this for awhile, but it still came as an unpleasant surprise to me that I was allowing stuff that had previously been disallowed by default.
Thanks.

(32,139 posts)select "options," and then select the "whitelist" tab. There you can see the entire whitelist and delete whatever you like. I just deleted everything and allow stuff as I need it.
It's definitely allowing things it didn't allow when I first installed this program. However, I guess I am late to notice this, because the threads below are dated 2010. Sorry if this is old news to you.

Many of former really good programs to prevent spyware are being put on the shelf or neutered.
I don't like it but I also agree with the courts, free speach is not always plesant.
