As a matter of fact no one has brought forward any proof of quid pro quo. A lot of the accusers just sound envious.

(34,518 posts)Sanders has been in office far longer than has Clinton. He's as entrenched as they come.
And she has had far more success than he has.

Most who post such drivel here have already found their way to my Full Ignore list and I don't miss them at all. They add nothing to the political discourse (or any discourse, for that matter) but their own projection and bitterness.
There are issues that can be rationally discussed where Clinton is not perfect and where I sincerely hope that she improves. But, instead of rational discussion, the RW smears are repeated and no facts can rebut them enough for the True Believers, who literally seem to believe that Bernie represents a Second Political Coming.
Boy, will they be disappointed when they realize that he is - first and foremost - a politician, just as he has been since 1981! NO politician is purer than the driven snow. In fact, opting to run as a Democrat in the Dem Presidential primary, while continuing to style himself as an Independent for his Senate seat is the epitome of political opportunism. Certainly, it can be rationalized, but at least they should recognize that. And they won't.
Despite her flaws, Hillary is still an outstanding candidate who will devote herself to the job very much as President Obama has done. She has my one hundred percent backing in the primaries, where - failing a totally unforeseen event - she will come out on top. She will also have my full support in the GE, where I truly believe that she can beat ANYONE the GOP has to offer.
Yes, they ARE envious, among other things. They also don't realize how much their posts make that evident.
