After rough day Hillary Clinton takes her MASSIVE lead into much more favorable April states http://buff.ly/1Rm4UD5
...........The full delegate math for today wont be known until the final tallies are posted. But the upshot is that Hillary Clinton is heading into April leading by more than two hundred standard delegates, and more than six hundred total delegates. For all the inaccurate cries from Sanders supporters that shes somehow only winning due to superdelegates, the reality is that shes received around 2.5 million more votes than he has, making her the clear peoples choice. And just as surely as I was able to predict that Washington and Alaska would heavily favor Bernie, I can just as accurately tell you that nearly all of the remaining medium and large states will favor Hillary. Most crucially, theyre primaries, not caucuses.
Next up is Wisconsin, which Hillary Clinton currently leads by six points (source: RealClearPolitics). Then come states like New York and Maryland and Pennsylvania, where her polling leads are in the twenty to fifty point range. Shes also leading by seven points in California. At this point Bernie Sanders would need to win all of these states in blowouts just to come close to being in contention, and hes likely to lose most of them in blowouts. Small wins in big states dont help him, nor do big wins in small states.
Again, the demographics and format dictated all along that today 26th was going to be one of Hillarys worst days of the campaign. Ive been warning her supporters about the pitfalls of March 26th for some time. But the reality is that today didnt help Bernie much mathematically even though he dominated, and he doesnt have another favorable day on the calendar. Now Hillary departs todays hostile territory with a huge delegate lead and an even bigger popular vote lead, as she heads into friendly territory.
