The policewoman was a victim of right-wing opposition violence.
Venezuelan authorities arrested the attacker of a policewoman who was brutally beaten during Wednesdays opposition march in Caracas, Justice Minister Gustavo Gonzalez Lopez announced Friday.
The man was identified as Jose Gregorio Hernandez Carrasco, aka Robocob. Gonzalez said they were able to locate him thanks to the help of people who filmed the moment when a group of violent right-wing protesters attacked the 22-year-old officer Dubraska Alvarez.
Wednesdays protests were called by right-wing opposition leader Henrique Capriles, who invoked violence by calling on the nation's military to rebel against the government of President Nicolas Maduro.
Capriles urged his followers to demand that electoral authorities move preparations forward for a recall referendum against Maduro and threatened that if the government wants to implement the state of exception by presidential decree it will have to do so by force.

Turns out that photo is from another story from over a year ago.
And here is "Dubraska," all healed up from those nasty bruises. And if you watch the rest of the video of the actual policeman who was getting beaten, he simply walks it off after one of the protestors comes to his aid.
TELESUR is nothing but a Chavista propaganda drain pipe. Thought you would've learned that by now.
