CLAP committees in Venezuela will now be in charge of gas distribution

Petróleos de Venezuela, SA (PDVSA) implemented a new system that puts the communal shelves of the Local Supply and Production Committees (CLAP) as distributors of domestic gas.



Ricardo León, member of the Board of Directors of PDVSA and spokesperson of the Strategic Socialist Plan (PES) 2016-2026, said that the committees are committed to host this new function, said Maduradas .

"This effort seeks to provide each of the communes with the shelves of gas distribution, taking advantage of the organization and strengths of the CLAP," he said.

León stressed that with this modality they hope to reduce "considerably" the deficit that afflicts the population.

"During the last weeks we have worked with the communities to establish the criteria with which we are going to work," he said.

CLAP is the Chavista organization that distributes food and medicine to those most needy.... providing they are good Chavistas. Poor and needy and didn't vote for Maduro or the PSUV? Too bad, Skinny... go find your food someplace else.
