Monday, Aug. 10, marks the beginning of three-and-a-half days of public hearings on the departments proposal to
reduce conflicts of interest in retirement investment advice.
Witnesses will present their views on the proposal.
If you cant make it to Washington to attend the hearing, the proceedings will be webcast live at dol.gov/live. Those who do plan on attending can find complete details in the
Federal Register posting. The departments headquarters, the Frances Perkins Building, is located right next to the
Judiciary Square Metro station and is also served by several bus stops. Parking is not available at the building, but there are public garages in the area. More information on the rulemaking, including public comments, are available on the
Employee Benefits Security Administrations website.
