This is all fallout from how terrible Hoffa junior was as union president.

Junior was ineffective as union president just as trumpig was for our country idiotic selfish corrupt and should be under investigation by the Feds.
My employer Buster brown possibly on verge of a strike.
ABF freight union members just approved a strike authorization.
I worked with old dudes who said the old man Hoffa senior everything was for the men. I don’t know I started in 87.
What I do know is Hoffa junior was a bloated tick that sucked what was once decent not perfect he sucked all of us members dry.

I was at YRC for two contracts that gave back 15% of our wages and dropped the pension contributions to twenty five cents a hour.
The M.O.U. all juniors shit .I quit came over here to drive for Buster brown.
And today YRC now yellow freight risen from the ashes once again cannot find drivers they drop standards of which Roadway five years driving experience to will hire you right out of school . I quit no notice I walked once hired by UPS .
YRC didn’t deserve a notice they were blowing the 15% giveback corporate welfare stepping over $100 bill to pick up a penny.

kept allowing was for smaller companies that were Teamster to shift assets around, enter into "service contracts" with non-union subsidiaries etc. and to get away with not making their pension contributions all while planning to go to bankruptcy court and sell off the rotted hulk left behind. They would also allow them to shift all of the assets and shipping customers/contracts to one non-union company and all of the liabilities to another. So the asset holding company would survive/be sold and the liabilities holding company that was supposed to make good on the pension payments filed liquidation bankruptcy. So after years of this going on was it any surprise that the Central States Fund was grossly underfunded? All while running under tight federal supervision/control.

along with a big percentage of the membership being scabs and voting republican and always going along with management and voting for concessions.
I retired because of the scab republican voting membership, hell half of our alternate stewards were rethug voters and had fjb stickers on their toyota vehicles.
Junior did nothing but go along to get along and Unions lost much that had been bargained for over the years.

I tried to point out to them that they were voting against their own interest and even with two assistant stewards who had big teamster stickers on the back window of their toyota pickups and a fuck joe biden bumper sticker, I retired because of it, I already had my time in and took my retirement and left.
Those guys are still assistant stewards and the membership at our hall was at least 65% trumpers it's sickening, hell I think our business agent was a trumper.
Don't get me started, I am happily retired now that Joe has fixed our pensions, got a letter from Central states retirement fund a while back explaining how the butch lewis act saved our pensions and My pension is funded to last throughout the rest of my life and beyond.
It sickens me at what the membership has become.
Hopefully TDU Sean O' brien and Zuckerman can turn things around for the young chickens that are brain washed into voting for colonel sanders.
Rrrrrrrrrr

Here is something hilarious I heard an ups driver truck driver as I am. He isn’t to comfortable going on strike if we walk 😂😂😂🤬
I explained to him in 94 we had several guys cross they were all gone within a year because the old timers made coming to work absolutely shit.
I said if you wanna scab go ahead you’ll find out then again maybe not with this new union leadership.

Dues and voted for Ronald Reagan.

Before that you dare not park a Toyota on the lot. Most of the members had helped win the war.

To this day I drive, first my Chevy, Olds, then on to Buick. Looks like I will have to go to Caddie to get a car, not an SUV. But that is fine, my income comes from the company where Kettering installed the first self starter on a Cadillac!

At the time unions suffered consequences. I am forever grateful i still have a union negotiated defined benefit plan that will give me valuable monthly retirement dollars.

Venture capitalist approach, it just took a little longer because undoing the union was hard. I hope unions come back strong, we need them.
