Several more pieces of debris including possibly part of a door believed to be from the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 have been found washed up on the Indian Ocean island of Réunion, as Malaysia said it was seeking help to expand the search for wreckage.
Sundays finds included a 70cm metal sheet featuring Chinese symbols believed to be from a door, discovered by a passerby in Saint Denis, 15 miles (25km) from Saint-André, where the first piece of debris was found.
Authorities immediately cordoned off the perimeter and the object was taken away for further analysis.
Separately, an AFP photographer saw police collect one piece of debris, measuring about 100 sq cm, on the north of the island, also on Sunday. Police placed the debris, which has a type of handle partially covered by leather and is inscribed with symbols, in an iron case.
