Just talked to a guy outside of Trader Joes in San Diego (in Hillcrest, the gay area). Every person who left the store he would say "spare change to help teenagers." He had a Bible on his table and a plastic bucket covered with God Bless stickers.
While I was standing there a man came up and asked if they were a religious organization. He said absolutely not. Really? SO I walked up and said excuse me, but not only are you religious (penticostal) but Teen Challenge teaches gay teens they must be straight. The guys reply? "Dont believe everything you read online" and then he turned away and ignored me.
Seriously pissed off.

Teen Challenge is a Pentecostal Christian recovery program and a network of Christian social and evangelizing work centers. It is a 12-18 month program that serves drug addicts, alcoholics, gang members, prostitutes and people with other characteristics that the program considers to be "life-controlling problems", such as homosexuality.[1] It is a mission of the Assemblies of God.
