Atlas Shrugged Part 1 is now on Nextflix streaming
I wouldn't bother to rent it, but since it is on Netflix, I am satisfying my curiosity. It is just awful. I know it was made on the cheap and it shows in every single frame. The acting lacks direction as does the cinematography, it reminds me of an afternoon soap opera. Then, of course there is the story, but I all ready knew that was a load of crap.
Anybody else suffer through it?
If you really want a headache, go to the IMDB message board for it, I dare you : http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0480239/board/threads/

(12,272 posts)That is my guess. I wouldn't pay to see it either, don't want to contribute a cent to the premise and the morans who are selling it.
So . . . need I even ask what you thought of it?

I might watch Atlas Shrugged tonight now that you mention it. I'll let you know how that went.

(12,272 posts)Watch Game Change tonight, don't waste your precious time on Atlas Shrugged, it is just plain bad, not new or interesting. Game Change is beautifully acted and directed, its only real fault is that the writers make McCain look noble and Palin deserving of sympathy.

(4,810 posts)It was the worst acting I have ever seen. The worst! Endured half an our of it then I left a blistering review.
Oh God......

(12,272 posts)It would have been better if it had been rotoshopped, at least then it would have an excuse for being so awful. So now part 2 is coming out for that dedicated group of Ayn Rand fans.
Seeing it on Netflix satisfied my curiosity, and it was even worse than expected. I guess I am lucky that my mind can't even imagine such crap.
