We had a late lunch of stuffed cabbage rolls and sliced pork roll over roasted vegetables (fennel, carrot, zucchini, turnip, scallions). There was gravy that came with the cabbage rolls. In addition, the RG took some of my baby toscano and fried the leaves and put them with little slices of ham. Kind of like fried sage leaves. They were crispy.
We salt roasted beets, so will have sliced beet salad with chevre and red leaf lettuce tonight.
Apple dessert from the trip to the Polish deli yesterday, so that tonight after the beet salad. Would be nice to have with ice cream or Greek yogurt.
