Gryff's first night in 'general population' went well. Apparently, his wake up time is 3:30am.

My wake up call? Face nuzzles and loud purrs, aimed directly into my ear. He is a VERY affectionate kitten so I can't complain. We can all take a nap, later today. Right now he and Madoc are competing for morning kisses. Not a bad way to spend an early morning.

1. Awww that's the best way to wake up. My Stanley loves to give kisses and head butts in the early

morning, while our little girl Sophia will lick my nose then always stick her butt in my face. I mentioned it to our vet and she said cats smell each others back end to say hello and get to know each other. So the planting of the butt in my face is a cat version of offering a hand for a handshake.

2. By 4, they were both asleep, again. One on my left shoulder, one on my right

But, of course, that was just a cat nap. I have a feeling that they are now both in the kitchen, sitting by their food bowls.
