Red Eyes

I'd like to highly (hiiiiighly!) recommend a book by one of our editing/publishing clients. This is a first novel, but you wouldn't know that to read it.

Red Eyes is a crime story that covers decades. It's also the life story of the protagonist, the investigator of the crime.

The characterization is remarkable. I thought that Gary Hensley, the author does a wonderful job of bringing to life the setting (the Tennessee-Virginia border) and the various time periods.

Read about the book here: http://www.dvorkin.com/garyhensley/

Often, the editing job is fairly routine and mechanical, but this book grabbed me from the start.
