We were cleaning up the dinner dishes when Tn, went ahead with 1.1 second left. I said, well maybe they'll get a hail Mary. What a shot.

They are also Gamecocks.

Every team at the University of South Carolina, are gamecocks. I thought it was best to differentiate which team I was talking about.

Louisiana State University- Tigers and Lady Tigers

Texas Tech Raiders and Lady Raiders

Alabama A&M Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs

Alcorn State Braves and Lady Braves

Just to name a few

I find it to be a ridiculous practice IMO

which were their previous names. The switched to Ladies in the 70's

Now they are simply known as Gamecocks. Which is what I usually call them. But, you know, since I was on a message board, not everyone would know what team I was talking about, as both teams played yesterday and won.

Sometimes I refer to them as women.
