In view of Pope Francis' somber new emphasis on poverty and care for the poor, and with an eye to the several dioceses about the country using bankruptcy to stiff their victims, all of which are downers, let's celebrate some upbeat new reconstruction!

while the poor, the sick and the starving are given less help than a pet.

$100 f'n million for a building that will require thousands in air-con and maintenance and zero for a devout 83 year old dying of cancer.

His stories and deeds and destruction, folk choose to build in glass. I suspected Jesus would never have seen a piece, since it was so rare, but wandering around the internet I see it would have been used in jewelry in Israel at the time. It was that much of a luxury good.
