(5,902 posts)Hillary, on the other hand, actually had close to that on her in 24-k gold jewelry - and still looked like a bourgeois upstart.
Hillary looked fine and so did Sanders.

(9,086 posts)It's over. The revolution is doomed. But then over the course of the debate I gradually started to like it more and more.
By the end I couldn't believe how much I loved it and there couldn't have been a better choice of tie.

(34,136 posts)tonight (last night now I guess). I thought the tie was nice and his suit looked great.
Nothing better looking than a man with a plan, a progressive point of view and a heart filled with equality. The nice suit helps too.
He did a great job tonight.

(9,086 posts)It's the first time the questions went to trade, NAFTA and TPP.... it's a great strength for Bernie.
But Hillary is a great debater always. So it's a challenge.
I think the tie helped him.

(2,872 posts)I kinda want one, but then I remember I don't wear suits enough to justify having one. I'm still very much a hoodie, jeans, and cap type when I'm not in uniform.

(3,919 posts)can't say the same for hillary. navy blue is not her best color. and she needs to stop wagging her finger or shaking a closed fist to maker her point. we are not a bunch of children for her to scold into voting for her.

(34,845 posts)It's odd how much their favorite toons have become part of me. From the hoakey Fantastic Four cartoons of 1967 to the Powerpuff Girls of the 90s, I sometimes feel like a regenerated Time Lord.

(5,417 posts)ok, not really. In fact I think Bearnie looks good in that tie.
If he wears a tie with cartoon characters, lets talk about that but otherwise there are more important issues.

Talking about ties and suit colors, lol? Just kidding. Seriously though, I liked the tie.
JackRiddler
(24,979 posts)But I'd like to see some organic shapes and REDS along with bright blues, even yellows. A tie should be a centerpiece, like a hairdo or a necklace, or else it should not be worn. And of course, I do mean RED not only for the great aesthetic appeal!
