Related: About this forumWhy are the surrogates always Hillary's?
CNN, MSNBC --- every time the network wants someone to comment, it seems they have a Clinton surrogate right on hand, never a Bernie surrogate.

(10,131 posts)They minimize the other candidates air time and maximize their candidates air time
- in 2015, Clinton 121 minutes in the news, Sanders 10 minutes coverage
They minimize the use of the other candidates surrogates and maximize the use of surrogates sympathetic to the candidate they support
They use the talking points of the candidate they support in their news for that candidate
They use the talking points of criticisms made by the candidate they like as something they stress in the stories about the candidate they do not support.
I think that about covers it.
They haven't got their thumb on the media scales here - they've got both feet firmly planted.
