2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumfor clinton supporters: why are you so committed to convincing us that bernie "cant win"?
why not let it play out? i mean, if she is strong enough to win, she will win anyway, right? why not let a vigorous and spirited issue oriented campaign strengthen the eventual nom after everyone has had a chance to vote?
there will still be plenty of time for the nom to deal with trump, so why the rush?

(50,130 posts)That's the truth of the matter.
They want her to be the undisputed nominee before the SHTF in May.

(12,655 posts)if bernie has dropped, they can plug in their crony of choice at the convention. but if bernie is there with approximately half the delegates, they can't stick in biden without major hell breaking loose

I've seen a lot of "Don't worry" posts, but that's a lot for people supposedly not worrying.

(26,549 posts)So the campaign and her surrogates are very much trying to push an "it's over" story. Otherwise, there's a danger in the later 2/3rds that it might not go as planned.
The posters here are mostly talking about what the campaign talks about.

(31,935 posts)He's winning the Blue and Purple States. He's winning a whopping SEVENTY percent of Independents (of which there are far more of than in either party), and 20% of Republicans!
So guess what? It's HILLARY who can't win!
