There's no reason HRC couldn't just attack Trump now ANYWAY.

Bernie doesn't have to drop out and let her move forty degrees to the right to be able to do that.

Everybody in this party should be entitled to vote and have their say.

...by pointing out how much better a conservative she is, which would be awkward if she was still having to pretend to be a liberal in the primary at the same time.

It will be much easier for her to campaign against Trump.

Her strategy will be:

"Vote for me I'm not a bigot like Trump and let's leave the banks, multi-nationals and the 1% alone."
