Published on Mar 17, 2016
Big business loves bribing the Clintons. They get great returns on investment. In the last forty years the Clintons have received over three billion from big money interests. Cenk Uygur, host of the The Young Turks, breaks it down.
"Over four decades of public life, Bill and Hillary Clinton have built an unrivaled global network of donors while pioneering fundraising techniques that have transformed modern politics and paved the way for them to potentially become the first husband and wife to win the White House.
The grand total raised for all of their political campaigns and their familys charitable foundation reaches at least $3 billion, according to a Washington Post investigation.
Their fundraising haul, which began with $178,000 that Bill Clinton raised for his long-shot 1974 congressional bid, is on track to expand substantially with Hillary Clintons 2016 White House run, which has already drawn $110 million in support. *

(84,711 posts)that I've ever seen. I didn't expect this from Matthews given his track record and support for Hillary.
The "Knocking Off" of Dictators discussion reveals fully her Hawkish side and agreement with Regime Change policy.
Every Dem should watch this no matter whom you support and how much you dislike Matthews after his years of "thrill up the leg" and other comments. He did an incredible job in this interview. What his motives were, or are, is unknown, though--given his past track record.
I was blown away

(5,275 posts)They don't really deny it they just leave clever little nebulous replies with no real facts. They want to vote for her so what if she is bought and paid for by the plutocracy.
The corporate democrats are close to what the republicans were pre Reagan. The republicans are close to the old John Birch Society, a reactionary crazy house at this point.
For real populism we have a few outliers like Bernie and the Green Party.
So we now have a few mega rich, a few normal rich, many in my boat as pretty well off, and lots of poor people, lots of losers spit out the bottom.
Sooner or later the people on the bottom will figure it out and rise up. The question is how long this might take with propaganda like Faux News and the rest of the corporately owned networks. The good long term news is the youth, who increasingly do not access old school media.
