(the revisionist history of 41% was bullshit. It was several HOURS before 41% was tallied, and people were STILL in line)! I don't think that they should call any State until over 80% of votes are tallied, and it isn't close enough to flip to another candidate.

Especially when people are still waiting in line - after several hours - to vote. It's antidemocratic, it's unethical.

If you're standing in line and the race is called for someone--you are more likely to leave.

The media was definitely WRONG in calling the race so early for Hillary Clinton in Arizona. One percent is ridiculous to call any race. It's absurd.

It appears that so many things in AZ went Clinton's way. She naturally was going to do better with early voters in AZ.

The fuck ups with the very low number of precinct sites--combined with the media calling it early and depressing the vote--all worked in Clinton's favor. Like a charm.

She couldn't have asked for a better confluence of conditions to favor her--if she had planned it that way herself.

The earlier calls are usually in primaries where people vote all day long rather than at one proscribed time.

There weren't in Arizona as well.

They really shouldn't make predictions in these cases until a big portion of the actual vote is in.

Arizona, IIRC, was called after only the early votes from Maricopa County were in. That didn't seem right IMO.

The last plausible excuse for not calling it, when they called Arizona at 1%, is now gone

There will be no stopping him now.

A little birdie, and some blowout election returns in AK and WA, told me that.
