In fact, I never considered her a journalist at all. Which publication did she ever report and write for?

I first heard her on Air America with Winstead and I think maybe Mark Maram (sp?) if memory serves?

2 Comedians. doing a kinda of quirky political chatter show on the air for a very short run, I think the show folded not long after the 2004 stolen elections.

Then I see her make cameo appearances on Keith Olbermann as a Political Pundit, doing analysis which she pulled off fairly well and with just enough sophistication to resemble a somewhat astute political analyst.. and with just enough wit to win over liberals and the big suits at MSNBC to fulfill the entertaining fluff factor. I tired of schtick very early on her first year. a couple of years later I just cut the cord altogether, because Journalism was not to be had on Cable anywhere.

A good Journalist?

If there are any links pre-MSNBC indicating a career in genuine journalism, I'd be curious.

Maybe you don't watch other news organizations. You might know that MSNBC isn't the only one talking about these things. As for Bridgegate, totally political and hardly news the way she covered it. You are more accepting of labels than I am. She says she's a policy wonk. She might actually be better on something like MTP - I've said that before. But she is hardly good at her current job. McDonnell - more politics and of course it was out there.

https://www.rawstory.com/2016/04/megyn-kelly-says-options-open-on-leaving-fox-you-call-huckabee-fckabee-and-youre-gone/

Kelly’s contract with Fox ends after the November election, and she says that she is keeping her “options open.”

“Never say never. I don’t know what’s going to happen,” the Fox News host observes. “I’ve had a great 12 years here, and I really like working for Roger Ailes. I really like my show, and I love my team. But you know, there’s a lot of brain damage that comes from the job.”

According to Kelly, a less controversial role like NBC’s Today morning show or her own talk show would result in “far less conflict in my life.”

“You have to wake up so early,” she says of the Today show. “Listen, this is a fickle business. What if they called me and fired me tomorrow? I have to keep my options open.”

It's the "Coach Parks Syndrome."

I went to a largely affluent high school. I was middle class, there was a lot of culture shock, but the school was in one of the most affluent towns in California. That meant the parents sank a LOT of money in the football team. The key players, the cheerleaders, the whole enchilada largely...but not exclusively...was made up of "Top 1%ers" students.

The parents only cared about one thing...winning...and the cash flow to that team was a 1%er cash flow.

Then there was Coach Parks. A mean son of a bitch, the worst caricature of a bulldog ass of a high school football coach you could imagine.

EVERY year, Coach Parks would say "Wellllllllll...i think this is going to be my last season."

BOOM...parents gifted him with a motor home. One of those that was bigger than the house I lived in.

Next year?

"Wellllllllll...i think this is going to be my last season."

BOOM...now he has a boat. BIG boat.

Lather, rinse, repeat.

So yeah, Megan is not saying "I've signed a deal, I'm out."

She's letting Uncle Roger know she has some payback coming.

My guess is that Uncle Roger isn't all that generous. He probably sees Hannity and O'Reilly as his "stars" and is willing to let anyone else walk.

The first decent interview I've seen Hayes do without after-talk bashing was his silence when Michelle Alexander - can remember now talked about Bernie and Blacks. She told it and he was pretty much speechless for once. I would love everyone to see:

She is right about Bill Clinton, the 90's and today. I guess, I don't see the bashing of Bernie at the scale that you do... I see Hilary a woman, former first lady who has worked hard for democrats for years... being called every filthy name you can think of. at every opportunity. Almost as if she is the personal punching bag of some. Sanders took her name to the campaign trail and made people think she was really all up in big oil, campaign finance shenanigans and getting paid for speeches. Most first ladies got paid for speeches and the men get paid even more but Hillary's speeches are the only ones t hat sound nasty to people, why? Because of Bernie and his rhetoric of a woman getting paid to speak. A SEC of STATE former fist Lady. How dare she. He hung her up on a PINATA everyday for a year and was praised for it. $$ in politics.. Bernie has some of that too and it should look worse on him since he is running a purity campaign about $$ in politics..but it does't people only care about Hillary and beating her to the ground..
To me, Bernie had a good message but that alone was not enough and shouldn't be. I think, we all should try too wear someone elses glasses now and again. I'll try to tone down my rhetoric here and be more tuned in with how others feel..

That is absolutely relevant to a campaign and election. You think she's a nice lady, well maybe. I don't know. That isn't relevant to me. But the I'm not voting for a next-door neighbor. Both Maddow and O'Donneel were waiting for him to get out whatever it was he was trying to say. He is not quick nor sharp. I wonder if his days aren't numbered. It was a little pitiful.

68. Are you serious? You want journalists to ignore the fact that Bernie

doesn't have a clue on how to implement the single issue he has been obsessed with for 30+ years? Really?

Is it wrong for someone to request more details on how he plans to make good on his promises?

Because Bernie supporters believe she's in Hillary's camp, and Hillary supporters believe she's a Bernie supporter.

Rachel is a policy wonk who also happens to be very progressive. I think her progressiveness inclines her towards Bernie, and her wonkiness inclines her towards Clinton. In the end she just likes to analyze stuff on TV, without necessarily shilling for everyone. And these innuendos that she's sold her soul for a cushy White House job are just ugly.

91. The pods got her asleep. It's the only thing that can explain her unbelievable change of heart.

Or, money.

It could be the money.

But, she was SO GOOD on Air America! And, this Rachel Maddow is SO BAD and so clearly a shill. So, I'm thinking the pods got her while she was sleeping. Yep.
